My Israeli parents came to live with us a couple of years back. Even after they had been here for some time, I could still tell that they felt like outsiders and not truly at home. It was my wife who told me about the DISH Israeli Package, which came with the coveted Israeli Network, complete with: Israeli News, Hop TV for kids, and Israeli Sports, the latter which showed all the cricket matches you can imagine.
I asked her to make the switch from our cable provider to DISH that same day. My mom and dad said that we shouldn’t bother and that they were just fine with the cable, but as soon as the installer left, I found my dad going to the Good Life Israel channel in on 711. It was right then that I knew the Israeli Package was going to be a big hit.
It wasn’t long before both of them were splitting up TV watching times throughout the day. My dad with his news and sports and my mom with her talk shows and soaps that she never likes to miss. It wasn’t long after that I could see the difference in them both. They seemed to be more relaxed and at peace. I never thought that something as simple as Israeli Package on DISH would have such a dramatic effect on my folks, but it did. I am thankful for television options like the Israeli Package.
The best part of the whole process was how easy it was to get it all set up. My wife told me that she called a very nice phone representative at AFREEDish and that the whole thing took less than 20 minutes to set up. The next day a clean professional installer came out and set it all up. It took only a couple of hours and it was all done. She even said that the agent who was helping her put a Hebrew speaking manager on the phone who helped with her picking out the best Israeli Package option. What could be better? Great programming! Great price! Great customer service! I will be a customer of DISH and their Israeli Package programming for a long time to come.
