I was pleasantly surprised and had to do a double take when I saw the DISH HD offer of Dish HD being given away for FREE. I just had to call into DISH myself to find out if DISH HD offer was indeed legit. Once I did confirm that DISH was offering HD free for life, I had them sign me up for the FREE Dish HD right away! The Dish Promotion agent explained that in order to get the FREE HD for LIFE that I would need to sign up for DISH 24 month Agreement with AutoPay and Paperless Billing option. Now, I’m not a big tree hugger and I got no problem with the world being a bit warmer so I wasn’t looking to have DISH save the trees for me, but if I get something for Dish HD FREE well then it can’t be all bad. Plus, I don’t mind the idea of having the bill taken out of my bank each month. One less thing I have to remember.
Then the Dish Promotions agent told me about the HD DVR receiver and I just knew he was trying to charge me for a bunch of stuff I didn’t need or want. I asked him what it was and why did I need it. He told me that the ViP722 DVR Receiver would allow me to record my favorite shows on two TV’s and that it cost only an extra $6.00 each month. Now, I hate spending money, but what I hate more is when I miss one of my shows because I’m out running errands. You better believe I said yes to that DVR deal! I got no problem with paying $6.00 a month for it either. It’s worth it! I can’t tell you how many times it’s saved my butt. Every time my wife puts together a Honey-do list, I just set my show or game to record at the click of a button and I can watch it when I get home.
ll I got to say about the DISH offers makes me feel like just maybe Dish HD ain’t in cahoots with the rest of them. They set me up with a good TV package. So much so, I’m thinking about getting another HD TV for my work room. Believe you me, I will be calling back to take advantage of the DISH HD offer before I can finish this Honey-do list my wife has for me. I think she will be so impressed with all the benefits we get from DISH, along with saving over $600, that she won’t mind me doing that first.
